We have made some changes to the inside of our studio to help ensure we keep a clean and healthy environment for our painters. To enter our studio ALL CUSTOMERS must not be displaying any signs of illness, respect social distancing guidelines, wear a mask covering their mouth and nose and wash their hands upon entry to the studio. We will ONLY allow painters in our studio by reservation. No watching guests and extra bodies.
To speed up the painting process, ALL projects will be picked out and paid for online ahead of time. This helps to make the painting experience as safe as possible by having your pottery ready and waiting for you at your table. This will also allow for touch-less payment.
We ask that you stay at your seat and ask us for anything that you may need during your painting session. You will be able to pick out 4 colors per piece. We will bring the paints to your table. We are limiting 2 brushes per piece and will eliminate any supplies that cannot be easily sanitized from our studio. You can wash your brushes in water to use a new color. If you need paint refilled, let a studio technician know and they will refill your cup.
Additional colors can be purchased for $3 per color or 4 colors for $8.
You will have 2 hours total to create something. There will be a 5 minute grace period before we are subject to give your table away to wait list painters.
If you cannot finish your project in the 2 hour time frame reserved, you will have to allow for enough time for your project to air dry so we can wrap it up for you to finish at home or you may carry it out with wet paint.
Works in Progress will have to be completed at home. If you need more paint for a WIP you currently have, you will be charged $3 per color or $8 for 4 colors.
You will also notice that our shelf tags as well as the Studio Fees have gone away. Now, it will just be the price of the piece(s) chosen plus tax. **We will still accept 1/2 off studio fees coupons. They will translate to $4 off your bill.
We are firing pieces at a reduced rate. We will contact you when your pieces are fired.
Steps We’re Taking to Maintain a Clean Studio
We are monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), federal, state, and local agencies to help ensure the actions we are taking are in line with the latest CDC recommendations and guidance. We are communicating regularly with our employees to keep them informed and to ensure their safety and that of our customers.
We are educating and monitoring all staff members and cleaning all high-touch surfaces such as tables, chairs, countertops, and surfaces with antibacterial sprays. We are also washing our brushes and paint containers with soap and water, as well as regularly washing our hands throughout the day, and after each customer.
Steps You Can Take to Help Us
We are asking ALL guests coming in to paint to please wash their hands with soap and water before starting the process. Out of respect for the staff and other customers, if you are showing signs of illness (coughing, etc.) we will ask you to please paint with us another time, or take your items home with your to paint. – We even will meet you Curbside. Thank you for your understanding.
